SOCAHOLICS ANONYMOUS - A WINE IS A TERRIBLE THING TO WASTE!!

Socaholics Anonymous is all about the celebration of we (OUR) music. Soca is one of the fastest growing genres of music in the world; with that being said we must always "remember where we came from" in order to know where we are headed. The music that night will try to touch every aspect of Soca and Calypso from the pioneers of soca like Roaring lion and the Mighty Sparrow to current stars such as Bunji Garlin, Skinny Fabulous and Machel Montano. For the first time Socaholics-please don't come to the DJ area at 10:30 asking for "2011 Soca"; we have the entire night for that.. Look out for "Artist sets"- 3 or 4 songs by a particular artist in a row at certain times throughout the night. We may start with a current hit then mix right into one of their early hits... You will be surprised at the songs that are so easily forgotten after each "Soca Season".

We just ask that all of you Socaholics and first time Socaholics come to VIVA CITY on Saturday August 20th with an open mind- Soca Sweetness, D'Enforcas, Mr Playhouse and yours truly Soca Monarchs International will take it from there. Remember ..
