A Message from Dwayne Morgan....
Thank
you to everyone who supported our fundraising endeavours, to get out to
Saskatoon for the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word. I am ecstatic to
tell you that we went out there, won the competition, and are now
officially, the best team of poets in the country. Up From The Roots has
finished in second place 3 times in the past, and this was the first
win for Toronto. This Sunday, at the Roots Lounge, we will showcase the
poems that brought us the victory, and we hope that you'll come and help
us celebrate the victory.
