Denday @ The Cage 292, Toronto, ON - Mon Aug 11th!

This Denday we continue to seek a reggae performer in Toronto, Canada whose talent and vibe elevates the worldwide reggae landscape. We seek a real talent! We also hope to encourage other gifted artists to shine. We are conducting an open mic for anyone wishing to display said talent. Acapella, acoustic, your own track (production quality a MUST!), or freestyling off a riddim by a DJ (or a track of your choosing ~ if the DJ has it)... This coming Denday 11th August we open up the mic!

freedubstar will also be performing once again as they rehearse their full set for upcoming shows. A three piece reggae band with a PHAT sound, who do a few Marley covers as well as their own originals.

This will NOT be a free for all situation as I have communicated with each performer prior to the event so anyone not on the list, please do not grab up the mic. We discourage mic hogs! We encourage any and everyone to be on their best behavior by showing respect to others.

Also spinning this week with Spiceygad Quash & Empress Start A Fyah Sound will be Patrick Roots. Patrick has been on air with CIUT 89.5FM, Reggae Riddims each and every Saturday night at 10:00pm ~ 12:00am, and has been on radio for over 25 years presenting reggae music as well as various other programming. One of the few who still have a reggae presence on Canadian radio airwaves.
