Western New York’s GIGANTOSAURUS REX embodies a sound, as their name suggests, that’s huge, enveloping & relentless in funkified groove. Each member’s contributions are careful and considered choices that culminate in this unique group’s sonic identity. Drummer and composer Sean Jefferson, keyboardist Andrew Links, and bassist Tyrone Allen II are all curators and creators of an improvised space, whose depth of articulation leave you ready to dance... or just leaves you thinking. Special guest on this performance is iconic National Jazz Award winning trumpet player Brownman Ali, best known for his work with Guru’s Jazzmatazz, Jay-z & Missy Elliot.
