Rising up from the Caribbean coast of Colombia, comes SOUKUSTEK, with its high energy and sunny sounds of African guitar, rooted in Congolese Soukous and Nigerian highlife fused with Afrobeat and the more local sound of "Champeta".
With this exciting project, founder of SOUKUSTEK, champeta guitarist TURY MOREY gives us a taste of life growing up in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, surrounded by African influences and Caribbean life!
