She provides new details about incredible exploits, events and settlements connected to the work of Black heroes, freedom fighters, people who made a difference. Who are they? How have they made a difference and why should you know about them...from the beginning of Canada to the present day? What did they have to do to be heroes? This will include a talk, some visuals, the author reading from her works and interaction with the audience.
