Jamaican born Singer/Songwriter and Veteran Studio One Recording Artist began his musical career with Byron Lee and the Dragonaires. While with the group he recorded a series of solo hits but has been most notably known for his version of the Detroit Spinners, “I’ll be Around”.

In 1985, Gayle was awarded a Juno for his hit “Heaven Must Have Sent You” and became one of the first black artists to be recognized for this prestigious award. Otis has worked with Artists like Barry White, Liberty Silver, Carl Henry III and many more just to name a few…

Gayle has built a solid reputation as a ‘Big People’s Singer’ who recently released his latest CD ‘Love Is a Thing’ in September. If you are a Fan of Reggae, Soul, R&B and Jazz then join us as we feature the Legendary Pioneer with the Higher Ground Band & Special Guests!!! #ReggaeJamSession
