Hope that you are enjoying this awesome weather and it looks like it will be a hot and sunny day for Brunch this weekend!
A very limited amount of $40 tickets are available for the The 4th Annual Fancy Big Hats and Brimz Brunch coming up this Sunday, June 19th aboard the River Gambler, Toronto, ON.
Remember, you must reserve your ticket in advance as no tickets will be sold at the boat.
If you have emailed or called me to inquire about your tickets and haven`t made your payment, please do so immediately, as tickets will not be reserved without payment.
Also, if you are unable to make the event but would like to contribute to the Keegan Allen Memorial Trust which helps youth and families enjoy unique experiences, you can do so through the Brunch ticket link below until June 19th.

Just to answer some questions:
1) Do I have to wear a hat?
You are strongly encouraged to wear a hat/appropriate head covering, but not baseball caps. A big hat, fancy hat, fedora or fascinator are all appropriate. Be bold and stylish! Ladies, there are a lot of beautiful and inexpensive hats and fascinators in stores right now. Gents, feel free to wear a big hat or fedora if you prefer, but no baseball caps please! Also, please make sure that you wear suncreen because the weather forecast is 30+ degrees!
2) What does Brunch include?
Brunch includes a variety of menu items including bake, saltfish, akra (salt fish fritters), ackee and saltfish and veggie and $5 contribution to the Keegan Allen Memorial Trust. If you purchase alcoholic or regular beverages that`s on your own tab.
3) Where do we meet?
The River Gambler is located at Pier 31, 333 Lakeshore Avenue East., Toronto, ON. (off Parliament). We will meet by the entrance of the boat. Please bring your confirmation receipt with you and be on time as we will be boarding at approximately 12:30pm. If you miss the boat, you will be out of luck and there are no refunds!! The boat returns to the dock at 5:30pm.
4) Where is parking?
Parking is available by the boat. There are coin machines for parking permits. You must have a permit or you will be ticketed! The machine takes coins or credit cards and the cost is $10 - $15.
The parking lot is not paved.
Please be aware that the ground is loose and uneven gravel and it may be a little dusty on toes.
*Flat shoes are strongly recommended until you board the ship.
5) Can I get tickets at the door?
No, this is an advance ticket event. So, make sure that you reserve your advance tickets in time before the ticketing link shuts down as we won`t be accepting any last minute requests

6) Who is djing?
Djs for the afternoon are DJ Quincy from Ebony Sound Crew and Christopher Michaels from G98.7FM.
Please note that you cannot bring any outside food or drinks (including water) on the boat!

It's our first Brunch in this year's signature series, originally created in 2013 to give you an opportunity to meet and connect with like-minded, fun-loving people while giving back to the community. So, $5 from every brunch ticket will be donated to the Keegan Allen Memorial Trust which assists youth and families.
There will be prizes for style and creativity, so find your fanciest hat or fascinator and be part of an elite group of Brunch Enthusiasts as we sail around the picturesque Toronto harbour in style!
