Hallelujah Pepperpot @ Islington Evangel Centre, Toronto, ON - Sat Jun 22nd!


Hallelujah Pepperpot is back by Popular Demand!!  Last Show!

Due to the overwhelming response to their performances last year, Heritage Singers will be presenting Hallelujah Pepperpot again this Spring to GTA audiences. We look forward to your continued valuable support of our efforts to preserve folk culture through music, song and dance, and assisting us in bridging cultural gaps.  Come and experience a taste of the Caribbean.

“Hallelujah Pepperpot” is a pot pourri of religious music in Jamaica (which is reputed to have the most churches, per capita, in the world). This concert will provide servings of dynamic rhythms and harmony, drumming, dancing and a celebration of religion through a musical journey that will evoke nostalgia. The programme will integrate songs from Nine Nite, Spirituals, Rastafarian and Revival, accompanied by keyboard, drums, steel pans and other instruments.

Location: Islington Evangel Centre, 49 Queen's Plate Dr, Toronto, ON

You all came out in unbelievable numbers and made JerkFest 2011 another phenomenal year! Thanks to all who came from within Toronto, all over the GTA and overseas to celebrate with us; you made our 10th anniversary an amazing record-breaking event! JerkFest 2012 will be even bigger and better! It will once again be staged at the beautiful Centennial Park in Etobicoke offering great jerk food, fun for the entire family, more prizes and surprises.
