JAMBANA™ has been designated the Canadian official celebratory event, by the Government of Jamaica, in commemoration of Jamaica's 50th anniversary of independence on Monday, August 6, 2012. JAMBANA™ will be part of the global celebrations connected to celebratory events in Jamaica, London & New York live!
JAMBANA™ is an exciting Fun for the Family event with the opportunity for marketing, networking and socializing with delicious food and excellent entertainment.
JAMBANA™ is produced by Jones & Jones Productions Ltd. Thousands of friends and family attended JAMBANA last year and we expect attendance to increase in 2012. Jamaica's 50th year of independence.
JAMBANA™ continues to demonstrate Canada's cultural mosaic in it's finest form, through performances by internationally acclaimed reggae artistes and JUNO award winners. The rhythms of Gospel, Dance, Comedy, the "Lick A Six" Domino Tournament, information on JAMAICA 50, the Golden quest of Jamaican athletes at the Olympics in London and Entertainment will be programmed over the 8.5 hour event.

Last year JAMBANA™ built a two bedroom home for Guerrier W. Doucette and his family of six at Jacmel, about an hour from Port au Prince, Haiti. The JAMBANA™ Big Give is expected to continue in 2011
