TD Irie Music Festival @ Celebration Square. Mississauga, ON - Fri June 21st & Sat June 22nd!



TD IRIE MUSIC FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 17TH ANNIVERSARY IN 2019
Celebrations begin with a two-day festival at Mississauga Celebration Square and ends in Toronto with the annual TD IRIE Fest Boat Cruise.

Kick off the summer with the tropical flavours and the rhythmic sounds of reggae, soca, Afro-pop, dance, spoken word, visual art, Caribbean and international foods, and more. The 17th annual TD IRIE Music Festival gets officially underway on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Mississauga Celebration Square.

TD IRIE Music Festival is free to the public and is wheelchair accessible. The festival runs to 11pm on both days.

Come hungry, dance to great music, meet new friends and stay late.

The TD IRIE Music Festival @ Mississauga Celebration Square, Mississauga, ON - Fri Jun 23rd & Sat Jun 24th!



The TD IRIE Music Festival is celebrating its 15th anniversary as one of the GTA’s most highly anticipated summer events. Taking place at Mississauga Celebration Square, this year’s celebrations takes place over two days: Friday, June 23 to Saturday, June 24.

TD IRIE Music Festival is a culturally diverse event that will feature international and Canadian artists in various artistic disciplines: music, dance, spoken word, visual arts and culinary arts. A diverse array of Caribbean and international tropical foods, drinks and unique gift ideas complete this event. It is free for the whole family. A beer and wine garden will be part of the event as is the special IRIE Craft Beer for the second year in a row. There is something there for everyone as we celebrate Canada’s 150th Birthday Celebrations!

International and Canadian musicians will perform on the main stage at Celebration Square representing genres from reggae, soca, and world music to soul/r&b. This year’s headliners include a selection of artists such as the dynamic lover’s rock and dancehall singer, Da’Ville to Aaron “Voice” St. Louis, winner of his second consecutive International Soca Monarch title in Trinidad in 2017. 

Other artists include Moses Revolution, one of Toronto’s top soca bands and Blessed, a Juno-award winning and international reggae artist.

Saturday, June 24th, 2017,  2-11 p.m.

Admission is FREE

Location:  Mississauga Celebration Square, which is part of Mississauga’s Civic Centre, is located at 300 City Centre Drive, just south of the Living Arts Centre and north of the Mississauga Central Library.

TD IRIE Music Festival, a FREE multi-day, multi-venue summer music festival proudly celebrating its 12th Anniversary year.

On Saturday, August 23rd and Sunday, August 24th, TD Irie Music Festival is in Mississauga!

Grammy winner Richie Stephens and Soca Legend David Rudder are headlining the Mississauga-leg of the festival. We start at 1pm each day.

Saturday, August 23

Richie Stephens:

Richard Stephenson, better known as Richie Stephens has been a household name in Jamaica for over two decades, an honour afforded to only a few Jamaican Artistes. He was later invited to be part of the twice Grammy Award winning act Soul II Soul and sang lead vocals on their chart topping single “Joy”. Richie's latest album "Real Reggae Music" is available worldwide from iTunes and many other online stores.

Steele:

Described as dynamic and sensational, with the versatility and range that defies restriction to any one genre. Steele is as captivating in his handling of R&B material as he is with soul, reggae, gospel, classical, and jazz.

The Steady Rebels:

The Steady Rebels are an 8-piece alternative reggae group formed in Mississauga, Ontario. Their recently released EP entitled "MOTION" shouts their mission statement outright. An inclination to keep people moving onward, whether it be through positive action, increasing awareness, or even dance

IRIE Fest Toronto – August 3rd to 6th, 2012

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2012, the TD IRIE Music Festival is a multi-day, family, friendly festival taking place over two great weekends of the summer: Friday, July 14th – 15th and Friday, August 3rd to 6th, 2012.

  Join the celebration of music — from Reggae to Salsa, Soul to African; dance from the African Diaspora presented in association with dance Immersion, spoken word/literature, visual arts exhibition, delicious tropical food & drinks and more.


The TD IRIE Music Festival has expanded to the Mississauga Celebration Square, next door to Square One, on Saturday, July 14th and Sunday, July 15th. Rated one of the best outdoor stages in Canada, this $40 million dollar facility is an ideal location for residents from the region of Peel and beyond to come together to celebrate all things irie!

The beat goes on with IRIE Fest Toronto, August 3rd to 6th in the heart of the city with two main stages with exciting live performances at the TD Music Main Stage Nathan Phillips Square and Yonge-Dundas Square, August 4th & 5th .



The IRIE Music Awards, founded in 2011 as a new addition to the festival celebrates its second anniversary. The IRIE Awards celebrates some of Canada’s best reggae and world music artists. The IRIE Awards ceremony and concert takes place on Thursday, August 2nd at the Phoenix Concert Theatre, 410 Sherbourne St, Toronto. This is a ticketed event.



Experience some of Canada’s most exciting, emerging soul/R&B, artists at IRIE Soul Stage showcase, presented in association with Urban Music Week at Yonge Dundas Square for on Saturday, August 4th and 5th.
