To commemorate the 50th birthday of superstar trumpeter Wynton Marsalis, one of today's most celebrated jazz musicians, he and his world-renowned 15-member Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra will perform a retrospective showcase of his major compositions for big band. And what a party it will be! The joyous program also includes renditions of tunes by such historic greats as Thelonious Monk and Lee Morgan as well as new works and arrangements by contemporary jazz masters.
