Trey Anthony Studios presents "Black Mother's Don't Say I Love You" @ Daniels Spectrum, Toronto, ON - Sat May 17th!

Trey Anthony Studios will be presenting Black Mother's Don't Say I Love You at this year's Rock, Paper, Sistahz Theatre+ Festival in Toronto, Ontario.

The showcase is being presented Saturday, MAY 17th, 8:30 p.m. at Daniels Spectrum.

Come out to support the festival and take a sneak peak at the thought-provoking new play before it hits Broadway!! "Black Mother's Don't Say I Love You" is set to be inspirational, insightful, and thought provoking. We'll be presenting alongside other amazing, talented writers and artists such as Ngozi Paul, Catherine Hernandez, Amanda Parris and many more. These "Sistahz" will be rockin' the house with their new work.

Directed by award winning 'djanet Sears.

After the performance on Saturday we will be discussing the title further. Make sure you come to the reading to be a part of this!

The festival which first highlighted the work of Black Women Artists in 2002 is back for its 12th edition, and will also include brothaz and sistahz from other cultures!

The rock.paper.sistahz festival is a hand-picked and fully curated teaming of quality, diversity, and raw energy. This season’s theme is A Festival Dating Experience... induced through intimate artistic collaborations and explorations: 10 dates over 10 days. This year’s festival intends to attract further cross-pollination of communities and audiences of different heritage, ages, disciplines and lived experience!This year's festival will run from May 24-31.

This is the official launch of rps#11 with a reception and off-the wall art installation curated by Sandra Brewster with a performance by Lisa Michelle.
