As we near the 2 year anniversary of this party for a purpose series, I can't help but to reflect on what we've accomplished with BFF. Since the very 1st one in March of 2010, we have featured 13 different Soca artists from across the Caribbean and donated just over 4000 pounds of non-perishable food items to the Daily Bread Food Bank. While this is an amazing achievement, we cannot stop now. As the weather gets colder, those in need direct their funds to ensure they have access to housing and towards heat. When money is tight, people must make the choice between shelter and food, and food always suffers.
