Created by Olunike Adeliyi (Flashpoint, French Immersion, Saw 3D), the Toronto Monologue Slam! one of a kind experience as Masterpiece Theatre meets American Idol.
Entertaining, energetic and non stop fun! The Toronto Monologue Slam is a one of kind experience. Over 100 of Canada’s hottest up and coming actors delivered electrifying performances in 2012 and the showcase only gets bigger and better. Each month twelve actors brave the stage to perform, have fun and compete for the grand prize of $100 cash, prizes and the ultimate bragging rights as T.O. SLAM Champion (championship belt included). Actors also have the chance to experiment and show off their craft to friends, colleagues and industry professionals, creating relationships and opportunities that will enhance and potentially advance their careers.
Guest judges include some of the biggest casting directors, agents, producers and actors in the industry .
Doors open at 4:30pm for this evening of intimate and electrifying performances, with curtain opening at 5:00pm.
