Registering for a ticket is a way for us to estimate how many people are interested in attending, and allows you to sign up for notifications and updates.

Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not allowed on any of our fields, except for service animals.

Where can I park?
Free parking is available in the lot outside 79 Carl Hall Road, behind The Hangar.

Where is Friday Night Lights located?
Friday Night Lights will be held on the outdoor football field and running track behind The Hangar at 79 Carl Hall Road.

What movies will be playing?

August 31 – Black Panther
September 7 – Avengers: Infinity War

Movies and dates are subject to change.

What time do movies begin?
All movies are expected to begin at dusk (approximately 9:30 p.m.).

How will I know if a movie night gets cancelled?
We will post a notice on social media and on our website should an event be cancelled as soon as possible (emergency, weather, etc.).

Will there be food for sale?
The Toronto Popcorn Company and an ice cream truck will be selling a variety of popcorn and treats.

What’s this about free ice cream?
Free soft-serve ice cream, served in cones, will be available to the first 200 people on each movie night on a first come, first served basis. You must obtain a voucher from our information tent (located at the event) and redeem your free ice cream on the same day (subject to availability).

What should I bring?
We recommend that attendees bring their own picnic blankets and/or lawn chairs. Be sure to check the weather and dress appropriately.
Popcorn and ice cream will be available for sale; outside food is welcomed (no BBQs).

How do I get to Friday Night Lights from public transit?
Attendees may take the 101 Parc Downsview Park bus originating from Sheppard West Station to The Hangar at 75 Carl Hall Road, and walk to the outdoor football field at 79 Carl Hall Road (approximately 10 minutes).

We recommend checking with the TTC for information on potential subway closures and bus route changes. As our movies begin at dusk (approximately 9:30 p.m.), we strongly advise checking your bus or subway schedule to ensure your route is still operational at the end of the night.

What are the movie ratings?

August 31 – Black Panther - PG-13
September 7 – Avengers: Infinity War - PG-13
We recommend visiting Common Sense Media and read reviews for parents. Link: here

Why did you select these movies?
There are a few considerations that go into the selecting of these movies. The first is availability as we are limited to certain movies by our provider. We also choose movies that our team believe will be of interest to our diverse park visitors.

What happened to Movies in the Meadow, Movies Under the Stars, and Saturday Night Movies?
We like to keep things interesting, so we vary the way our programming is presenting. All of our movies will be playing on select Friday nights; we hope you can join us this summer!
