Pix & Video from George Clinton's Valentine's Day Performance in Toronto

The Undisputable King of P-Funk, George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic, made an appearance in downtown Toronto on Valentine's Day, February 14th at the Phoenix Concert Theatre.

Known for his multi-coloured hairstyles and catchy song titles, Clinton appeared to be a little slow in movement on stage. He performed a few of his popular songs including, "Atomic Dog," "(Not Just) Knee Deep" and "Give Up the Funk (Tear the Roof Off the Sucker)" while his band appeared to carry the show for the most part.

Clinton was likely still grieving the sudden and recent loss of his son and mother. George Clinton Jr, who was 50 years old, died of natural causes in his Tallahassee, Florida home on February 1st. Julious G. Keaton, Clinton Sr.'s mother, passed away in December.

The 68-year old Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee is expected to release a new album this May with fellow soul/funk Artist, Sly Stone.
