SHE SAID/HE SAID is a new play that takes a look at Black Love in Toronto through the eyes of its two main characters SHE and HE. It is a play where Spoken Word, Theatre, Conflict and Comedy join hands to take the audience on an incredible journey.

SHE moved to Toronto from Nova Scotia and after trying online dating sites and meet up groups still hasn't met anyone

HE is of Jamaican Heritage and had to fight to over the custody of his daughter.

TOGETHER they meet fall in love and try to make their relationship last in a world where the Rules are always changing.

Written by Anne-Marie Woods aka Amani - this script is a fresh nuanced look at relationships where time is subjective the fourth wall is intermittently torn down and where we look at the societal stereotypes and pressures that sometimes affect Black people who are just trying to fall in love.

An ultimatum from his wife is his wake up call, sending him on a personal quest to discover ways of breaking the cycle in his generation.

RIVERDANCE, the internationally acclaimed celebration of Irish music, song and dance, comes to the Sony Centre For The Performing Arts for the last time, for four performances only, April 19-21, 2012. This is the last chance to see RIVERDANCE in Toronto, as the North American tour will close forever in June 2012.

For the past 16 years RIVERDANCE has enthralled over 22 million audience members with the innovative and exciting blend of dance, music and song.  Drawing on Irish traditions, the combined talents of 28 performers propel Irish dancing and music into the present day capturing the imagination of audiences across all ages and cultures. 

RIVERDANCE has performed in Toronto on five separate occasions since it’s world premiere in 1995. The Sony Centre For The Performing Arts became the Canadian home away from home for RIVERDANCE as they have performed at the Centre four times, as the O’Keefe Centre and Hummingbird Centre.  This marks a bittersweet stop on the tour as RIVERDANCE says goodbye to Toronto audiences on the prestigious stage of the Sony Centre For The Performing Arts. 

RIVERDANCE will perform at the Sony Centre For The Performing Arts as part of a Canadian tour with stops in London, Hamilton, Ottawa, Montreal, Fredericton and Sydney.

Today, the newly renovated Sony Centre is home to a roster of national and international artists that reflect the diversity and sophistication of 21st century Toronto.
