Where can you watch folklore dances from the four corners of the earth? Indulge your palate with culinary dishes from 60 different cultures? Purchase art, artifacts and fashion from around the world, and travel back
in time to the War of 1812 — all in the course of three days? Carassauga Festival of Cultures, Canada’s second largest multicultural festival, gears up for its 27th celebration taking place throughout Mississauga on May 25, 26 and 27, 2012. This year will see 26 pavilions feature spectacular performances, exotic cuisine and festive activities for visitors of all ages.

“Every year Carassauga introduces new features to enhance the visitor experience and 2012 is no exception,” says Heather Grand, Carassauga Chair. “This year we’re thrilled to present 60 cultures, introduce exciting new attractions and showcase the newest member of the Carassauga family, a mascot who will have a large presence throughout the Festival.”
